We are proud to be working towards the LGBT Youth Scotland Charter Award. This award recognises the hard work of pupils and staff who have worked together to ensure that Springburn Academy is a safe and inclusive place for LGBTQ+ pupils as well as everyone else. The charter guides us towards ensuring our school and curriculum are inclusive and welcoming to all pupils, staff, and visitors.
We have been working hard to ensure our policies are in line with the Equality Act (2010) and Scottish National Legislation.
Pupils have been participating in a range of events as part of the curriculum as well as extracurricular activities.
