* ATTENTION ALL PARENTS & CARERS *

REPORTING ABSENCE

Glasgow City Council has changed how you report your child's absence from school.  If your child is not going to be in school due to sickness or having a medical or dental appointment you must call the Absence line on:  0141 287 0039  You can call this number on any school day from 8:00 am

Please call the school directly under the following circumstances;

  • Bereavement.
  • Serious illness  (where an absence may last more than 1 week)
  • Injury, for example a broken limb.
  • Contagious disease or illness.

Springburn Academy is a non-denominational, co-educational, comprehensive school. It caters for pupils aged 12-17 and offers a wide range of courses. The school is situated in the north-east of Glasgow and its roll at August 2015 was 800.
