Beyond the Broad General Education is a conference, jointly organized by Glasgow City Council and the Glasgow Parent Council Forum, for the parents/carers of S1-S3 pupils.

The conference will take place from 9am until 12.30pm on Saturday 25 October 2014 in the Banqueting Suite of the City Chambers, George Square, Glasgow.

The conference is designed to help support schools in their engagement with parents and carers in Glasgow and to engage early with S1-S3 parents, to expand their thinking about the possibilities for young people in the Senior Phase.

Each Glasgow secondary school will send a total of 5 parents/carers of pupils from S1-S3, to represent the parent body and to contribute to the discussions.
