The next Health Walk Leader training course has been scheduled for Tuesday 19th March at Partick Burgh Halls, from 9.30am until 3.30pm. This free one-day course aims to give people the knowledge and confidence to set up and lead short local walks.

There is no charge to attend the course, but participants are asked to commit to leading at least 6 walks, and are asked to complete and return the required paperwork during the time that they are leading walks. (This information is required by the funders, NHSGGC and Paths for All.)

Following training, insurance for volunteer walk leaders is provided by Paths for All, and ongoing support -- including risk assessing routes, setting up a new walk, and marketing -- is provided by Walk Glasgow and the local area walking networks.
