A Steering Group for the School of Ambition was set up, including the SMT; Hilda de Felice (Learning Unlimited); PTs English, Maths, Modern Languages, Social Subjects, Science; representatives from Pastoral Care and other departments; John MacDonald (Local Authority); Jason Cooksey (Business); Gena Wilson (Community Worker); D McWhinnie (School Business Manager); M McQueen (AFA); and J Palmer (Union representative).

The purpose of the group was to ensure that the Transformational Plan was being carried out. Each person responsible for elements of the plan reported to the Steering Group. A regular financial report was made to the group.

The Steering Group then fed back to the departments represented. The School of Ambition was on the agenda of every departmental meeting, allowing for all Staff to be kept informed.
