.Religious and Moral Education in the BGE

Rationale:

·         To develop knowledge of major world religions, to explore various moral issues and to encourage and nurture philosophical enquiry. 

·         To develop life skills including communication and working with others. To develop critical thinking skills including analysis and evaluation.

·         To develop awareness and appreciation of diversity and difference and to develop responsible attitudes to other people.

·         To develop pupils capacity for moral judgement.
