The S5/6 Hospitality "Skills for Work" class are currently taking part in the Determined to Cook competition with Tennents Training Academy.

Miss Rankine arranged for pupils to have a free meal in Gamba, the award-winning seafood restaurant in Glasgow city centre, who designed a menu especially for the class.

Gamba's chef constructed a menu of fresh local produce to show pupils the standard required for the competition. Also, chef has kindly offered to come into school to help pupils with the dish that they have to design for their own menu.

Overall, it was an amazing night. Springburn Academy would like to extend a huge Thank You to Gamba for their hospitality.
