A group of S3 girls have just completed a 10-week SHINE GIRL course with Elysia Wilson of Urban Justice.

The aims of the course were:
 

• To promote a generation of confident, kind, thoughtful, courageous and empowered young women
• To pro-actively immunise the next generation against depression, anxiety and mental distress by championing the skills of emotional resilience and emotional intelligence

The final week saw the girls glam up and go to lunch at the Hilton Hotel, where they had the opportunity to spend some of the money they fund-raised through various activites within the school.
