S3 pupils support charity
Congratulations to all S3 pupils involved in the iLead course last term. As part of this course, the group decided to support a charity called The Jennifer Trust, which supports parents of babies born with a neuromuscular disease.
Each pupil took part in a 24-hour sponsored fast, and managed to raise a very impressive £688. Andrew Melrose shared the group's experiences with the rest of his year group at assembly and, along with Katlyn Goodwin, presented a cheque to Mr Hamilton.
Springburn Academy's thanks go to Elysia Wilson from Urban Justice, who worked with the group for 10 weeks, as well as everyone who supported them.
The pupils involved were: Katlyn Goodwin, Chloe O'Hara, Rebecca Gouck, Laura Manthana, Kiki Miller, Blerta Mustafa, Rachel Black, Deni Banks, Imran Khokar, Andrew Melrose, Jordan Brown, Naimh Currie, Darryl Docherty, Callum Booth, Kirsten Hall, Alix Duncan, and Owen Mills.
