A movie created by a group of pupils from Springburn Academy has scooped a top award.  On February 7, at the Glasgow Film Theatre, their 5-minute movie called Believer won the Best Drama category for Secondaries.

The competition, open to Glasgow schools, was run by the Determined to Succeed initiative, which aims to help Scotland’s young people develop self-confidence, self-reliance and ambition to achieve their goals - in work and in life.
